A story about determination and compassion, brought to life through hand-drawn 2D animation and wordless narrative.
Created as my university thesis project, this solo film follows a boy whose rest is disrupted by a fallen star. Touched by its longing to return home, he sets out to help, but a series of mishaps test his resolve. I led the full production process, from storyboarding and visual development to animation and compositing.

The film is rendered entirely in a coloured pencil style inspired by children’s storybooks, evoking a sense of childlike wonder.
